It is usually a challenge to fill the stadium on Memorial Day, said Russ Stanley, the team’s vice president for ticket sales and services. But demand jumped when it became clear that the team’s ace pitcher, Tim Lincecum, would face the Rockies’ star Ubaldo Jimenez. The team ended up charging as much as $25 for a ticket that had been $17 before the pitching lineup was set.
