Great article, showing sides of IT industry I did not know about, I have to disagree however with the threat, that the cloud infrastructure's price can drop and be accessible to companies. The point in distributed computing is the 'distributed' part here and this is the main reason cloud computing, grids and more of these are popular. That is my opinion, the article is great, it was a real pleasure reading it.
