Sherpa° is looking for software developers "who enjoy creative and collaborative work."

Credit: Sherpa° reported that over 900 tech companies have laid off 143,500 employees this year. Companies "want to ensure that there are voices in the room that understand the sociology of the products they produce and the impact they have on various geographies and political systems," says University of Washington Professor Margaret O'Mara.

Companies in need of tech workers and software developers likely will hire temporary workers instead of adding to headcounts, says Craig Freedberg, director of technology, digital, and business support at recruiting firm Robert Half.
