The developing world has lots of women in computing. Great talks at this week's NCWIT meeting explain why the difference.

(1)This is great info, if not surprising since almost none of our local high schools even have a qualified "office technology" instructor, much less a CS course/teacher. We should be doing so much better it boggles the mind...
